Black Hippie

Black Hippie is a collective group of artists, Kendrick Lamar, schoolboy q, jay rock and ab soul. They've never made an album as a whole, but all their solo albums have been released under the same label. I have schoolboys and Kendrick's albums, but I don't have any of ab soul or jay rocks stuff. I plan on checking them out soon. But I'm a huge fan of the albums they have released in the label that I've heard.

Dr Dre

I was never a huge fan of dr dre. I mean I liked him, I just never really listened to him. But going back and listening to the chronic and 2001, I realized that he kind of set the bases for hip hop and rap. I think 2001 is far superior to his first album. I recently downloaded dr dre presents the aftermath. I'm gonna jam it soon.

New Pusha T

Pusha T has two singles out for his new album, my name is my name. There isn't really too much music out that I really like right now, so when I found his new songs I was happy. The songs are called Numbers on the Boards and Pain. Both were co-produced by kanye west, so the beats are raw. Can't wait for the actual album, it's supposed to release in the summer.

Jambalya

I'm going to a show next Friday with a few friends, and I'm siked. Tyler, earl, big boi from outkast and zeds dead are all going to be there. And tickets are only 45. I can't wait to see Tyler again, he's unbelievable live. And I've never seen outkast before, but I wish Andre 3000 would be there too. And I'm not a big dubstep fan but I've heard that zeds dead is pretty good.

Radiohead

Radiohead is great, they've got some pretty unique stuff out there. I've heard a lot of their famous songs but I only tried to listen to one album. Kid A. That shit scared my balls off, then it got really dark and depressing so I turned it off. Never fucked with it again, and I plan to keep it that way.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Chili peppers are probably my favorite rock band of all time. I saw them live at acl, which was pretty intense. I think they're best album is californication. They have a very precise style, it's consistent, but they still alternate between funk and rock.

Indicud

I've been listening to the new Cudi album latley. It's a lot diffrent from his other stuff, it's like his insecurities are no longer existent and he's oh another level of his life. He produced everysong on the album, which is new for him. His production is similar in everysong, and a lot of it it's spicy and loud. I have mixed emotions about the album. Some songs are really dark and make me depressed, and other songs are really overpowering. He's definattly on acid so I'm sure his creativity abilities have been increased. I don't think it's better then his older albums but it's definattly one of the best albums I've ever heard.

Jesus Peice - The Game

I've never been a fan of The Game. I hated him. He's cocky and he thinks he's the shit. I listend to his old songs with people that are garbage like Lil Wayne. It pisses me off. And then my friend turned me onto his new album Jesus Peice. It was literally one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. It was nothing like his old stuff. It's an extreamly religiouse album. Lyrically it's deep, and it features some good artists.

Wolf - Tyler, The Creator

Tyler released his third album on April 2nd,(but I downloaded the leak a few days before). The first time I listend to it I was disappointed. I thought the beats wernt consistent, the lyrics had lost the intensity that Tyler brought in his first two albums. But after listening to it again, I could really understand what the songs were about. Most of the songs are about a girl, other songs were about crack fucking up the world, obsessive fans, and of course the odd future mentallity. I can safely say that I like his third album more then his second, even though it was really different, the change felt good.

Run Dmc

I've been waiting to listen to some hip hop in this class, and run dmc is a great, classy group that I'm glad we listened to. Theve got some great beats that you can tell are from the 80s-90s. I hope we have another hip hop day

Van Halen

Van Halen definitely made good music, and I'm sure back in the day, the lead singer was cool and all. But he just looks gay, and acts gay. But they were jammin out hard, and I may download an album or two.

Brothers Johnson

I can tell these guys were running the late 70's. They had just about every instrument in use during those videos. It was jammin out with that slap guitar solo. This kind of music has a really good feel to it.

John Travolta

I think John Travolta dancing to the Bee Gees was a fantastic combination. I owned the greatest hits album of the Bee Gees, and I frequently listened to it throughout my childhood. And when John Travolta got on the dance floor, he went hard.

The Police

The police are pretty good, I had heard a lot of there songs  before we heard the album. I enjoyed the album as a whole. I really like the vocalist. There wasn't really a bad song on the album either.

Jay-Z The Black Album

I heard this album a while back and i heard it again yesterday and was reminded of how legendary it really is. Its by far my favorite album by him, because throughout it there is a variety of feels to it. Its got some classic verses in it too, that i hear repeated by other artists all the time. I need to own this album and ill probably buy it pretty soon

Talking Heads

Those videos we watched in class were fucking fantastic. His dance moves were perfected. Flawless. His pants ended up being 3 times the size of his body, and he was still singing great. The bass on some of those songs were intense too. Great band, i dig it

Pusha T

I started listening to Pusha T like a month ago and hes already one of my all time favorite artists. Hes signed to kanye west, who is also legendary. But Pusha is just intense. He used to sell a bunch of coke before he started rapping, so he raps about that alot. But his projection and attitude make him unstoppable. This is my favorite song by him
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpw5qcfuUTA

Capital Steez

Capital Steez is another member of the Pro Era. But i heard that he died, which is weird because he only has one album. But its pretty dark and had a depressing feel to it. Its called American Korruption. But i really enjoyed it

The Underachievers

The Underachievers are these crazy new rappers that are like wayyy of the maps. Nobody knows who they are, and a close friend of mine referred them to me. They have a style to them that is intense, its these 2 guys that build off each other as they go. They have some really good songs, and alot of them are about acid.

Joey Bada$$

Joey Bada$$ is this new artist from a group called Pro Era. They're pretty great. Its like they're beats are from the 90's but they actually are new. All there music is was made in 2012 or sooner. Joey has 2 albums that like build off each other. But he's in the other 2 albums that they have as a whole as well.

Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head

I downloaded this new T.I. album the other day. Its really good, it has a lot in it that i can relate to, like being on probation and what not. The production is fantastic, and T.I. has done nothing but get better at rapping. He's got some other good rappers on the album as well, like ASAP Rocky and Andre 3000.

MellowHype Numbers

This MellowHype album came out on october 9th, and i've had it since before then, but since then not a day has gone by where i havnt listened to a few songs off the album, if not the whole album. Its one of the best albums I've ever heard in my life. I highly recommend downloading it. I feel like MellowHype is on a higher level then odd future as a group, and with this album, they took it to the next level.

Illegal Downloading

I download all my music for free, and i pretty much do the same thing Mr. A does. If i like the music, ill go buy the album. But if I don't like it, i just delete it. I dont think that should be against the law. Now when it comes to remixing/mashing and what not, i don't think it should be illegal either. But if the person is making money off of it, then at least a small portion of that money should go to the original artist.

Led Zeppelin 4

Led Zeppelin 4 was the only album i hadn't heard by them. I've always liked Zeppelin, and I usually listen to them when Im reading. I really liked their 4th album, its my favorite after their first.

Black Sabbath

I really like black sabbath, war pigs is my jam. Played that shit on guitar hero all the time. They're kinda like slow rock/metal, I never listened to an entire album by them but I definattly have heard a bunch of their songs.

Marilyn Manson

That video we watched was fucking creepy, I don't understand how somebody would want to listen to that. It's gave me a very unpleasent feeling. He's a weird looking mother fucker, I've seen a few pictures of him where he was actually dressed in clothes, he still looked frightening.
